I Made Fondue At home and You Can too I guarantee

I don’t know why, but I had the out-of-the-blue idea to make fondue for dinner last night. It’s very random because:

a.)  I’m not a huge fondue person (only been once at a restaurant)

b.) I don’t have the proper pans or tools to make it

c.) I had no idea how to make fondue

d.) I’m lactose intolerant … just kidding, but that would have been the worst.

Anyway.

I was walking around the grocery store and chose “Tonight is fondue night!”. This is my random life and I just had to roll with it because I was all of a sudden on a mission.

I rapidly looked up an easy fondue recipe on my phone and Mission:Fondue began.

I don’t have a fondue pot or long forks or any prior knowledge of fondue etiquette – but I made it work.

To make it much more interesting I didn’t have all the ingredients the recipe required, but I didn’t want to purchase mustard powder just for this. I ended up using low fat dairy cheese and milk in this fondue so I’m sure it’s a littler lower in calories than Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Costa Rica the typical stuff. fortunately it’s still very delicious.

Easy Fondue Recipe

Into a pan went:

1.5 cups low-fat milk

dollop of mustard (start w/ 2Tb and add to taste)

garlic powder & pepper (a lot)

soy sauce OR Bragg’s liquid aminos (start w/ 1Tb and add to taste)

bring to just under a boil -> add 12 oz. of shredded cheese -> stir

Stir until it’s all incorporated and thickens. I kept stirring the whole time so it didn’t get lumpy or weird.

I served my first diy fondue with a fancy salad just like they do at The Melting Pot.

And because I don’t have a fondue pot / set / whatever-you-call-it I put the pot of cheese in a bigger pot of hot water. I’m not fancy (obviously but it still tasted amazing!

I used all gluten totally Camiseta Leicester City free dippers – rice crackers, gluten totally free rolls, gluten totally free bagel thins (not great), cauliflower…

It was so good! Make it and impress your friends (ideally with a proper fondue Camiseta Urawa Red Diamonds set so the presentation is on point).

Try it and let me know if you love it / hate it / amazed a date / got your cat to love you much more by purchasing their love with cheese…

Yes, I know cats can’t eat cheese ( or at least someone just told me that). but vegas isn’t a cat, he’s a tiny tiger in a cat’s body. and tigers think cheese is GGGGRREAT!
